BROTHER (Known internally as AKASHA during development) was a sophisticated Discord index system developed by Capri Sun Tzu while working under MOTHER.
History
A prototype of BROTHER, used long before its conception, was implemented by Taylor in 2017 using a GoogleAnalytics bot. The shortcomings of this though was that nothing was actually saved of the content of the messages, just their metrics. A second prototype known was WH1TEHORS3.js, a module that was to be snuck into GDN, was envisioned in early 2018, but was never developed due to the Wonka Uprising.
After the Troon Uprisings, however, a need for a constantly on system that could cache all messages in any number of Discords was needed. Capri offered to develop it, though taking a leisurely entire calendar year to fully launch it, though a beta was usable from October of 2020.
BROTHER was shuttered in 2023 with MOTHER.
