Matrix is a chat platform like Discord but for schizophrenics. It is encrypted which means the NSA can still read your messages but you have a harder time reading them yourself, for some reason. The program was very popular with most the privacyschizos on Fediverse and The WIDEVERSE's own Crumbunist. It, like Guilded and others, were VERY briefly considered as alternative chat platforms but never implemented.
