WIDECRAFT (Modded)

Not to be confused with WIDECRAFT.

WIDECRAFT (Modded) is a series of servers hosted under the WIDECRAFT branding, but consisting of modded servers.

History

OceanBlock

The first modded server was booted up on November 22nd of 2021. It ran the Oceanblock pack, which made most of the world ocean. Solgnir and Tony played along with Taylor for about two weeks until the gameplay loop got too repetitive.

ATM8

An All The Mods 8 server was ran in December of 2022 after the installation of fiber at Taylor's office, allowing the WIDESERVER to begin operation.

CREATE 1

The first server after Tony developed an interest in the Create mod after Taylor kept linking YouTube videos based on the mod. After a day of research, the fellas landed on the "Create: Chronicles" modpack because of its incorporation of RPG elements along with tech. After about 24 hours though (and Tim building a giant staircase in the mines) it was decided the pack sucked, and that something else would be better before they got too committed.

CREATE 2

Very quickly, Tony suggested ATM9. An extremely brief ATM8 server had ran a few years prior, but the fellas gave it another shot. Unlike 8, 9 found to be much more lasting.
